Subsidy (Incentives) to Women Entrepreneurs in Mahatashtra

1. Prime conditions :

  • Subsidy entitled to units engaged in manufacturing of any eligible product.
  • Benefit entitled to : Proprietorship firms, Partnership firms, Pvt. Ltd. companies, Ltd. companies, Self Help Groups, Co-op. Societies owned solely by women.
  • Out of total staff, more than 50% staff should be women employee.
  • Benefit entitled for new as well as expansion units.
  1. Additional benefits for women entrepreneurs in agro & food processing sector.
  2. Benefit allowed mainly on following assets :
  • Investment in Land + Factory Building + Plant & Machinery + Electrification of unit.
  1. Scale category of eligible unit :

Subsidy benefit available only to manufacturing units in micro, small & medium scale range i. e. all units having gross investment in plant & machinery below Rs. 10.00 Cr.

  1. Location of unit : Subject to prevailing terms & conditions of the Scheme, eligible unit set up anywhere throughout Maharashtra can get subsidy benefit.
  2. Nature of subsidy benefit receivable :
  • Cash subsidy + Reimbursement of GST Tax + Bank loan interest subsidy + Power Tariff Subsidy + Stamp Duty Exemption benefit & other subsidy benefits.

Note :

An eligible unit carrying out expansion / diversification / modernization of its manufacturing activities is, subject to provisions of the applicable Scheme, also entitled to basket benefits equivalent to 75% of the amount of benefit that is otherwise entitled to a new unit in the same Taluka classification to which expansion unit belongs.

C. Stamp Duty benefit : 100% of stamp duty required to be paid on eligible document.

8. Other Points :

  • Subsidy scheme starts for investments made by eligible unit in eligible fixed assets after 14.12.2017.
  • Benefits under other Schemes of Central / State Govt. / authorities can also, subject to certain terms & conditions, be availed simultaneously.
