Of the above map, area enclosed within red boundary is recognized as PMRDA region.

As per Package Scheme of Incentives – 2019 (PSI-2019), PMRDA region has been covered under Group A category – meaning thereby no incentives shall be entitled under PSI-2019 Scheme to new industrial units being set up in PMRDA region as well as to existing units carrying out expansion or diversification or modernization activity in PMRDA region.

In nutshell, units (new/existing) within red boundary villages shall not get any benefit under PSI-2019 Scheme whereas units in Pune district that are outside red boundary can be eligible to get subsidy benefits under PSI-2019 Scheme.
